From an early age, she fell in love with the improvisational art of jazz, which she has combined with the anarchic rebellion of punk with devil-may-care energy, just as she juggles references to metal, R&B, hip-hop and much more. She herself has mentioned Mr. Bungle, Björk and Deftones as sources of inspiration. Her new 17-song album 'LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW' will be out on May 22nd. https://eccavandal.bandcamp.com"

The name of the song comes from a Time magazine article Iggy Pop saw about the Vietnam War. The lyrics are rife with references to the war, including napalm, nuclear bombs, fire fights, and radiation. The title refers to a military tactic used by the US military in the Vietnam War: to seek out the enemy, destroy them, and withdraw.\n\nhttps://www.songfacts.com/facts/the-stooges/search-and-destroy"

"text": "Back in 2001, Life Without Buildings release their first and only studio album Any Other City! \n\nNamed after a track by the influential English band Japan, this Glaswegian band featured visual artist Sue Tompkins on vocals. The band broke up after one album.\n\nTheir music valued invention, risk, wonder, imagination, and—perhaps above all other virtues—fun. And like very few bands, they were smart enough to walk away as soon as the fun stopped.\n\n\"When the band began, of course none of us really thought anyone would be interested, so there wasn't anything at stake,\" guitarist Robert Johnston recalled about a decade after their amicable break-up. \"For Sue, I think it turned from a laugh into being a commitment she'd never signed up for.\"\n\n \"I remember one [review] that said only mad people could like us,\" drummer Will Bradley said years later. \"I was happy with that. Not long afterwards, we seemed to get a lot of guys coming to our gigs with fresh head wounds, like unstitched lobotomy scars.\" https://tinyurl.com/wfv82fv7"
