Pepper was a real band.\nThis song was produced in a rush when The Beatles decided to bring back the theme song to introduce the last track on the album, \"A Day In The Life.\" The idea to reprise the song came from Neil Aspinall, The Beatles' friend and road manager.\nThe audience sounds were dubbed in to make it sound like The Beatles were playing it live. We hear the \"crowd\" in the first \"Sgt. Pepper's\" as well, which develops the concept. In reality, The Beatles had stopped touring so they could concentrate on studio work."
