"text": "Good morning KEXP team,\n\nThank you for an amazing show this morning. I was laid off last week after 15 years at my company. Solo Mom. 3 weeks before the holidays. 2 days before I was supposed to fly to NYC for a work trip. \n\nFrom what I'm seeing and hearing, I am not alone in this situation. My heart goes out to everyone else who is going through layoffs and unemployment. \nI am doing what I do best and getting out my toolbox of alllll the things that make help me to stay afloat and KEXP is on the top of that list. Music is helping me so much - not only feel better but also to feel sad and angry which are necessary stages of grief. \nWhat a privilege it is to have a community of music lovers to turn to. As a matter of fact, the last action I took before my company access was removed was to make a donation to KEXP in order to get the company match. \n\nCan you play something by Radiohead - maybe Let Down, Everything in Its right place or Jigsaw Falling Into Place? \n\n- anonymous\n--\n\n\nLead singer Thom Yorke on \"Let Down\": \"I was pissed in a club, and I suddenly had the funniest thought I'd had for ages - what if all the people who were drinking were hanging from the bottles... if the bottles were hung from the ceiling with string, and the floor caved in, and the only thing that kept everyone up was the bottles? It's also about an enormous fear of being trapped.\"\n--\n\"Let down and hanging around...\nCrushed like a bug in the ground...\" Here are the lyrics: https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/radiohead/letdown.html"
