Her first notable public appearance was the backing vocal of the band Blitz until 1986. After that, in 1990, she started a solo career, achieving great success in her native country.\n\nIn 1989, she met Herbert Vianna, and with his help and encouragement formed a funk band. Her first solo album, SLA Radical Dance Disco Club (1990), was produced by Herbert Vianna and Fábio Fonseca and had a hit with A Noite, composed with Luiz Stein and Laufer. "text": "Heinz von Moisy was a German jazz musician (drums, composition). \n\nMoisy received his first drum lessons in 1951. Four years later, he made his professional debut. In the late 1950s, he was a member of Michael Naura 's quintet, with whom he also recorded albums.\n\nIn 1961, he studied with Alan Dawson at the Berklee School of Music in Boston; he remained in the United States until 1964 and was the only white musician in an African-American band. Consequently, he joined a Black union.\n\nBack in Germany, he worked as a musician in Berlin. He toured as a session musician with Drafi Deutscher and Olivia Molina, composed music for theater productions, and wrote the chapter \"Drumset\" for the Great Book of Drum Practice. As a percussionist, he also participated in recordings with the Ars Nova Ensemble Nuremberg and with Lucky Thompson.\n\nIn 1979 he moved to Tübingen, where he taught at the music school and established a percussion studio. He also directed the International Tübingen Percussion Days for 16 years. He was a member of the International Jazz Trio led by Karol Szymanowski, and in the mid-1980s, served as the European representative on the board of the Percussive Arts Society."

It was released in 1972 through Capitol Records.\n\nRecording sessions took place at Independent Recording Studios in Studio City, Los Angeles, California with production handled by David Axelrod and Cannonball Adderley. The album features narration from Rick Holmes on all tracks and contributions from the sextet: Nat Adderley on cornet, George Duke on Fender Rhodes electric piano, Walter Booker on string bass and guitar, Roy McCurdy on drums, Mike Deasy on guitar, and Ernie Watts on flute, tenor saxophone, and tambourine, with guest appearance by Cannonball Adderley on two songs.\n\nBecause of the prominent production credit on the cover, the album is often mistakenly credited to Cannonball Adderley. Also, Soul Zodiac is not to be confused with Cannonball Adderley's Love, Sex, and the Zodiac."

Like many of his Italian colleagues at that time, he composed the scores for many exploitation films in the 1960s and 1970s, in genres such as Spaghetti Westerns, Eurospy, Giallo, and softcore sex films.\n\nUmiliani's other scores included Son of Django, Orgasmo, Gangster's Law, Death Knocks Twice, Five Dolls for an August Moon,[1] Baba Yaga, The Slave and Sex Pot. His orchestra score \"Arrivano I Marines\" for War Italian Style, a 1966 comedy about two USMC soldiers in Italy, is used in the Armored Trooper Votoms series as \"March of the Red Shoulders\".\n\nHis composition \"Crepuscolo Sul Mare\" was used in Ocean's Twelve. The album features guest appearances by Swedish rapper and singer Bladee, and American musician Underscores. \n\nSimilarly to her 2020 mixtape Galore, Choke Enough was made primarily in collaboration with Canadian musician Casey MQ. The album took Oklou two and a half years to finish, and explores \"the quest of meaning.\"\n\nOklou confides, \"Choke Enough is a very intense album for me.
