"text": "This album was recorded at Record Plant Studios during the summer of 1973 in New York while Lennon was having difficulties with US immigration, marking the beginning of his 18-month separation from Yoko Ono. \"In that time, Lennon’s world had changed. John and Yoko split. Because of this major personal break-up, Lennon had to re-evaluate his personal and creative life. The first thing that happened was that Lennon left the Dakota and got an apartment in the West Village of New York with his new personal assistant May Pang. She encouraged him to express his emotions in songs and record the results in a new album. Pang was more like an inspirational and creative muse who helped spark a new creative mindset for Lennon in the studio. He dropped his overtly political slant and on song five of Mind Games, the sugarcoated sweetness that Lennon claimed to have found in Imagine was resurrected for 'Bring on the Lucie.'\" http://bit.ly/2fcLp37"

"text": "The sixth studio album from British musician and producer Jonathan Jeremiah feels beamed directly from the 1970s as he delivers a fascinating set of nostalgic, soulful, symphonic folk-pop songs that’s distinguished by his deep, rich, velvety baritone voice. While he’s long found inspiration in legendary American acts like Carole King, James Taylor, Lee Hazlewood, and Scott Walker, ‘We Come Alive’ taps into a Euro-centric tone influenced by the likes of Serge Gainsbourg and John Martyn, and it yields a distinctive timeless-sounding record. -- Alex Ruder, KEXP https://tinyurl.com/6bpjwx63\n\nhttps://www.jonathanjeremiah.co.uk/"

The desperate edge of each longing verse rises to a triumphant chorus as his devotion pays off and she hits him with poetic illumination again.\n\nThe song isn't mere hyperbole. For most of his professional life, Cave had an obsessive work ethic. It only began to mellow after the deaths of his sons Arthur (who fell from a cliff at age 15 in 2015) and Jethro (who died from unknown causes at 31 years old in 2022). By the time the \"Wild God\" album came out in 2024, he'd come to regret prioritizing work over family for so long.\n\nNick Cave & The Bad Seeds have a live album of their Wild God tour, called Live God, releasing on December 5.\n\nhttps://www.nickcave.com"
