They recorded tracks - including \"No Cup No Bruck\" - for producers like Rupie Edwards and Coxsone Dodd; but their first hit \"Torturing\" was self-produced and allowed the group to found their own label, called Ital. "text": "Playing Seattle's Showbox on Monday, November 10th, and San Francisco's Regency Ballroom on Thursday, November 13th.\n\nSongwriter Dan Whitford reveals, \"'Still See Love' was a tune that came together pretty quickly, written about a couple clinging to what’s left of a relationship as it slowly capsizes. My idea was to make a song that had a verse and chorus that came from different worlds.\n\n\"We tried to make the verses as loose and organic as possible, layering live bass, percussion and spaced out roomy drum sounds, inspired by hybrid disco-dub productions of artists like Arthur Russell, Francois K, and ESG. Then in the chorus the whole track empties out, going from a big cavernous space into a tiny one, driven along by a minimal stuttering synth rhythm.\n\n\"I love the sense of contrast we achieved in this song. It’s constantly flipping back and forth between worlds and it almost feels like it exists in two places at once.\" https://tinyurl.com/2nm3a2ut"

"text": "SE SO NEON has become one of Korea’s most loved and respected alternative bands, receiving awards and acclaim while steadily amassing a global fanbase. With their forthcoming album <NOW>, the band—led by singer, songwriter, and multidisciplinary artist Soyoon—is ready to defy any expectations placed upon them. \n\nSoyoon’s guitar playing is key to <NOW>, which defies idea of genre and form to create a wholly unpredictable, yet utterly natural landscape, much like the ones she marveled at as a child in Korea and as a young adult in Los Angeles.\n\nhttps://sesoneon.bandcamp.com/album/now"
