It all happens as it is meant to.\nWhatever you have to face, whoever you love or lose - we must accept it. We can’t choose our physical body, family, happiness or misery, our place in the world, in the universe...but we have the power to embrace and welcome our destiny.\nIn Vietnamese \"Mối Lương Duyên\" means destiny but it doesn't only refer to love. It can mean many things, for example: How we all came together to form this band.\"\n\nhttps://saigonsoulrevival.bandcamp.com/album/m-i-l-ng-duy-n"

"text": "Summer School may be the newest kids on the block, but they are no strangers to the limelight. Joseph Carag was a seasoned songwriter for indie sweetheart Ragamuffs, writing catchy melodies like 'Lainey, Lainey' and 'Sunset Chaser' while Legend Pham spent several years touring in various pop rock bands. Having performed on Austin’s South by Southwest and the iconic Vans Warped Tour respectively, the duo seeks to blend many of their indie and rock influences for a new generation of listeners. Carag and Pham were linked through pop producer Cameron Kuwada (Kuwada) in Los Angeles, and soon after, decided to form a new band. The duo then recruited drummer Andrew Chegash from Apex, NC, vocalist Anuv Gupta from Sunnyvale, CA and Tyler Parsons from Bend, OR to round out the group.\n\nThe five-piece, Seattle based band released their debut single 'Sweet Tea' in August 2024, and has plans on releasing an EP in 2025\n\nCatch them with Chinese American Bear and Sehee this Saturday 11/8 at Madame Lou's!\nhttps://summerrschool.com/"

"text": "South Korean indie rock four-piece Silica Gel have tapped Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner for a new song titled “NamgungFefere.” “This was the first time I've ever written lyrics in Korean,” Zauner shared in a press statement. “Anyone who’s familiar with my work knows how much my Korean heritage has come to mean to me, so it was very personal to collaborate with such a revered Korean band and to create something for a larger Korean audience.”\n\nSee the video below: https://youtu.be/Q7YbKA9isws"
