The band's name was derived in part from the phrase \"The Disposable Heroes of Hypocrisy\", used in some Socialist literature. -- Franti and Tse worked with Consolidated producer Mark Pistel to program the beats for “Hypocrisy.” Pistel’s production for Consolidated combined pop, industrial, and hip-hop.
