Kitkat spent the past seven years keeping an eye out on 16th in Valencia in the mission. They lived at Rhonda‘s bodega, keeping the mice population low and community spirits up. Anyone that ever passed through would notice Kitcat and instantly smile, especially if he wanted some pets. He was an overwhelmingly loved staple of the community in more ways that words can describe . We lost KitKat to a Waymo that struck him and our community's been left with a void that will take years to heal. It’s been a very special thing, however, to to watch our community come together in these times of grief and loss, stopping by the bodega to wish the owners peace and love. Our district's supervisor is calling for a new measure that would lead to community votes in our city to decide on whether or not these autonomous vehicles are welcomed or not. Welcome! \n---\nFrom Angela:\nThis song binds me to my parents Tony & Linda - whom I've lost, but live within me always.
