He was also a wealth of knowledge about musical gear, popular music history, fashion, and so many other subjects. Could you play “Only Living Boy in New York” for my friend Tom? Many friends will be gathering next month for a memorial concert and it is one of the songs we will be performing. Appreciate all you do to normalize grief and help people navigate the journey.\nSincerely,\n-Shae"}],"showid":65099},{"playid":3577695,"playtype":{"playtypeid":1,"name":"Media play"},"airdate":"2025-11-13T22:24:46Z","epoch_airdate":1763072686000,"epoch_airdate_v2":"/Date(1763072686000)/","archive_urls":{"32":null,"64":null,"128":null,"256":null},"artist":{"artistid":1065915973,"name":"Grateful Dead","islocal":false},"release":{"releaseid":919741849,"name":"Built to Last","largeimageuri":null,"smallimageuri":null},"releaseevent":{"releaseeventid":498402486,"year":1989},"track":{"trackid":850001825,"name":"Standing on the Moon"},"label":{"labelid":1226220792,"name":"Arista"},"comments":[{"commentid":1104600656,"text":"A request from Spencer in Arch Cape, Oregon:\nMy brother passed away in September, 2022 and was a huge Deadhead. He went to countless Dead and Company shows. I had never got into them myself when he was alive. In July, 2023, I went to my first shows at the Gorge to honor him. We had played 3 songs at his funeral and they didn't play any either night at the Gorge and it left me wanting more. On a whim, I decided to drive to San Francisco a few days later to catch the last 3 shows of the tour. I got each song on each night (Standing on the Moon, Ripple, Brokedown Palace) It was a religious experience. I hopped on the bus as they say. Tears, laughter, and community with shared experiences and love. Been to 14 shows since and I count down the days till the next show. I need them. It's where I feel closest to my brother."}],"showid":65099},{"playid":3577693,"playtype":{"playtypeid":1,"name":"Media play"},"airdate":"2025-11-13T22:14:46Z","epoch_airdate":1763072086000,"epoch_airdate_v2":"/Date(1763072086000)/","archive_urls":{"32":null,"64":null,"128":null,"256":null},"artist":{"artistid":1837984925,"name":"Eagles","islocal":false},"release":{"releaseid":1837984925,"name":"Eagles","largeimageuri":null,"smallimageuri":null},"releaseevent":{"releaseeventid":255187910,"year":1972},"track":{"trackid":373566770,"name":"Peaceful Easy Feeling"},"label":{"labelid":737267319,"name":"Rhino"},"comments":[{"commentid":734877401,"text":"My dad passed last week, the day after turning 85. Everything around me fell away as Peaceful Easy Feeling beautifully filled the space and lifted the weight.
